Humuhumu makes smol fren (Day 3/30)

Humuhumu made many smol frens during our time in rural Eastern Ohio, including this teensy furry grey caterpillar.

That's very sweet. my favorite smol frens growing up were ladybugs and fireflies.

Fireflies are amazing. The UK doesn't have them, only glow-worms - and those are not very common - so both Keiki and Humuhumu were absolutely enchanted by the nightly displays.
